Unitea secures $7 Million in seed funding.

Unitea is an engage-to-earn platform that creates and deepens connections between artists and their fans while giving brands access to invaluable advertising opportunities that enhance the end-user experience. The app incentivizes music fans to support their favorite artists in exchange for blockchain-authenticated rewards while offering a platform built for meaningful connections and artist innovation.

Unitea has recently announced that it had secured $7million in a seed funding round that was led by 1st Class Guernsey, Chaos Capital, TokenSociety and Fuel Venture Capital. The firm intends to use the funds acquired from this round to further expand the capabilities and functions of this platform within the music industry and beyond.

The scheme being developed by Unitea allows users to earn Karma for streaming and sharing music with their friends and crews. Karma is a token that is earned when a user streams music or taking actions such as sharing the music with friends, following artists and adding artists to their festival schedules. This scheme allows artists to give back to their most devoted fans while also building their community.

The firm’s online platform has several other offerings including the Festival offering that has features such as: users can save upcoming festivals to their Unitea backpack, view festival lineups and rewards, create custom schedules and join festival crew chats to message and share music with friends.

This new scheme gives data back to artists and allows them to control their economy therefore, empowering them to grow and connect with their fanbase in new and innovative ways.
